If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and
will forgive their sin and heal their land.
2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV

Greater Binghamton Prays

Is a collaboration of churches, clergy and concerned individuals from various denominational, cultural and ethnic backgrounds who pray for the Greater Binghamton region of New York’s churches, community leaders from various spheres of influence and for the collective well-being of our residents.

The group (formerly called “The Thursday Morning Revival Prayer Meeting”) began in 1989 with three men committing to meet regularly on Thursday mornings for prayer, asking God for renewal and awakening in this region. Plans are presently being made to connect in meaningful ways with  marketplace, government, education and non-profit leaders to further this effort.

The GBP Mission

  • To pray for a reviving and empowering for every “Life-Giving” church in Greater Binghamton to be encouraged and to experience great success in its ministry for the glory of Christ.
  •  To encourage pastors and churches in the work we are assigned to do – both individually and jointly – each church complimenting the others.
